For the Scioto River...including Larue, Prospect...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Scioto River near Larue. * WHEN...Until late tomorrow morning. * IMPACTS...At 12.0 feet, Flooding occurs in lowland areas south of the Village of La Rue. Roads inundated include High Street, Larue Prospect Road, and parts of Vine Street. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 4:00 AM EDT Wednesday the stage was 11.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage early this morning to a crest of 12.5 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage late tonight. - Flood stage is 12.0 feet. - Please visit www.weather.gov/safety/flood for flood safety and preparedness information.

Fog is technically a type of stratus cloud, which lies along the
ground and obscures visibility.
It is usually created when humidity in the air condenses into tiny water droplets.
Because of this, some places are more prone to foggy weather, such as regions
close to a body of water.
Fog is similar to mist; both are the appearance of water droplets suspended in
the air, but fog is the term applied to the condition when visibility is less than 1 km.
