AREAS AFFECTED: Orange County Coastal
DESCRIPTION: * WHAT...Elevated surf of 4 to 6 ft, with sets to 7 ft expected. * WHERE...Orange County Beaches. * WHEN...Through Wednesday evening. * IMPACTS...Strong rip currents will create hazardous swimming conditions. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A 2 to 3 ft swell from 190 to 200 degrees with a 16 to 18 second period. Highest surf will occur on south/southwest facing beaches.
INSTRUCTION: Remain out of the water to avoid hazardous swimming conditions.

Cirrocumulus clouds form at high altitudes (usually around 5 km)
and have distinguishing characteristics displayed in a fine layer of
small cloud patches. These small cloud patches are sometimes referred to as
"cloudlets" in relation to the whole cloud formation.
Cirrocumulus clouds are formed from ice crystals and water droplets. Often, the
water droplets in the cloud freeze into ice crystals and the cloud becomes a
cirrostratus cloud. Because of this common occurrence, cirrocumulus cloud
formations generally pass rapidly.
